Ready for a rest day, those squats really got me on Monday. I hope to arrow a big bear or big buck tonight. I've been seeing a ton of bear sign as I hike into my spot, so there's a real good chance of getting an opportunity for spot and stalk. My stand has one shooter buck that already shed his velvet. I think he's mid 130's with a split G2, I want to see him in person to try to better age him, as it stands I think he is 3 and half years old.

REST DAY - slept about 3 hours last night. Got home from packing my bear out late. Shot a really good boar and a color phase to boot. Really proud of this bear as I had 4 cameras out in the area I was hunting and knew about him. I was mainly deer hunting mountain bucks, but this bear loves to come by my stand and work the mud as I have a dried up spring nearby. I wasted no time when I saw him and made a one shot kill. He went about 150 yards and piled up. It was a major effort to get him out and then make it to work on time the next morning at 5:30am. Nobody knows how much a bowhunter will sacrifice to be successful, unless they are a bowhunter of course. Check out the video at the bottom!
