Hiked about 5 miles with #40 pack on, good flush. Hit the archery range up and shot broadheads out to 95 yards.
Working on my backcountry gear all week:
*switched to just a tarp instead of tent
*switched my heavy MSR water pump to a sawyer that weighs 2 ounces
*switched my heavy vortex tripod to their lightest one that weighs just under 2lbs
*switched back to Jetboil that can hold a 100 gram canister for fuel that will undoubtedly last more than a week
I will do a video showing my entire pack unloaded and go over everything I take into the backcountry, I tend to pack heavy so I'm hoping to be around 40-45lb with food and water.
