1 Week Out From Nevada
Monday August 1st, 2016 Woke up sick as a dog, flu like crap. Had a fever, didn't train, BUT made it to the archery range and spent two hours dialing in my new Carbon Defiant Turbo! This rig is ridiculous and I am going to use this set-up for Nevada High Country Mule Deer. It's faster, and is a single pin slider which is perfect for spot and stalk mule deer. I am going to use a Tight Spot 5 arrow detachable quiver and possibly use mechanicals to extend my distances. Let me be clear, on elk I'm sticking with my quivalizer and shuttle t-lok FIXED broadheads. I like to have 4 pins and a slider for elk, so I guess I'm really lucky to be able to have two amazing set-ups to switch back and forth! Tuesday August 2nd, 2016 Same Flu don't care, went to the range for two hours, shot the course and dialed in my 3rd axis adjustment. No training boo. Wednesday August 3rd, 2016 Felt better, shouldn't have trained, but I'm addict: 1. Snatch from knee 6x3 60%,70,80,75,80,85 | #135,160,180,170,180,190x2 2.
