Elk Immersion Experience 2025

WELCOME TO THE ELK IMMERSION EXPERIENCE 

We changed things up for 2025!  This 5 day camp will be an experience like no other, here's a snapshot into the curriculum:

Day 1 - Live elk butchering.  How to field dress, debone and chill your meat.  Evening dinner and social.

Day 2 - 45 participants will be with Josh Jones aka MFJJ and his team working on their archery equipment.  You will be installing new GAS strings (provided), peep installation, D-Loop, nock sets, serving, and most importantly tuning.  You will leave this camp with a better understanding of how your equipment works, diagnosing and fixing problems.  We believe in arming bowhunters with archery tech skills will provide a lifetime value and a level of confidence that is undeniable.  We will also be providing a sight-in station and showcasing how to use Precision Cut Archery to build a custom sight tape.

Day 3, 4 & 5 - All participants will be placed into three different groups.  The first group will spend the entire day with Joel Turner of ShotIQ.  You will learn how to mentally control your shot when the moment of truth arrives.  Joel is a world renown archery coach, he's been featured on Joe Rogan.  

The second Group will spend their day with the Huntin' Fool team breaking down their individual hunt portfolio.  Creating a strategy to secure elk tags over the long term and understanding each state's individual process.  They will also hear from the team at onXhunt on how to maximize their time by e-scouting and utilizing all the features of their app.  Finally, this group will be instructed by the 2024 World Elk Calling champion Erik Berglund of Phelps Game Calls on how to produce quality elk sounds.

The third group will be with Dan Staton of ElkShape pouring over the art of mobile elk hunting, how to find elk on public land and most importantly, how to close the deal.  This day will include the stress test which creates a simulation of hunting elk with a backpack on while shooting your bow under duress. Dan has hosted ElkShape Camps for over 5 years, in total 25 Camps with over a 1,000 plus elk hunters. This group will also spend half the day with Josh Jones and Bodie Turner (professional archer) on archery technique. 

Participants will rotate through every station.  Camp ends at 5pm on Wednesday April 2nd at 5pm.
