Baby Boy...
As of this writing, our baby boy is still not here yet, but I can tell it is almost time. This week I have CrossFit Regionals (WEST) in Portland. Our team is ranked 8th or 9th out of 30 teams going into this competition. We are competing against the tops teams from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Should be fun and at the same time hard as hell. I hope to stay healthy and that our teams puts forth a solid effort with minimal mistakes. Who knows, maybe it will be #3 trip to the CrossFit Games.
The bear bait has finally been set... I'm still not ruling out some spot and stalk as I have a few honey holes to check when I get time. Check out this video of my hooky trip to set a bear bait mid-week.

Hiked in #40 of mineral to a local deer/elk spot. Checked 3 cameras. Helped dike some spring run-off to make a watering hole slash wallow. Did some lane trimming and covered about 4 miles. My kind of workout.

I'll sum up the Regional West competition. That was my 6th Regional. We got 6th place. We were shy 4 points to making it to the CrossFit Games. I've been on a team (2011) that finished one spot out of qualifying before, it sucks. We did really well on 8/9 events and even won the last event outright which we've never done before. We had a rough event 7, one that we planned on getting a top 3 finish in and ended up getting 15th, that cost us dearly. I still had so much fun competing and working hard alongside some great friends. We'll be back next year.
