33 Years OLD
Holy shit I made it 33 years, talk about old balls. I did a killer workout friday, I seriously almost threw up afterwards and then my dad and I bomb ran to Idaho... We made it to the cabin around 5pm, loaded up the ATV and road 8 miles of the rough stuff, parked and hiked in only 2 miles. We found both of the cameras that have been soaking for 2 months. One camera was not in a bear box and guess what, I have video of a bear destroying the camera. The other camera captured some great bulls, we now know of one heavy beamed bull that's an up and comer plus the original bull named LEO that we've been trying to kill for 3 years, here's a shot of him in late June looking good.

I started feeling like total dog shit around 11pm on friday night right when we got back from hiking out in the dark. Saturday I drank a ton of coffee and popped 3 Advil which I never do, it was enough to get me moving. Dad and I road our dirt bikes 43 miles round trip and cleared out trail and dropped off a spike camp, checked two cameras... one camera didn't have a bear box, and wouldn't you know, a bear got that camera as well. We got some great videos and the elk sign was amazing, plus no wolves or wolf sign!!!
I came home saturday night with a full on attack of the flu, 102 degree temp, chills, headache, and fatigue. I went to bed at 8pm on saturday and pretty much never moved until monday morning at 8am - 36 hours of sleep, might be a PR when it comes to that, the downfall is that I still feel pretty lousy and my wife's bday was spent sleeping... I will try to make it to work today, perhaps I will take the rest of the week off from training and get better.
