1 More Day to Go...
Idaho elk opener in the Panhandle opens Saturday, it's been rough looking at Facebook with all these bulls down from states that open up earlier... I would hunt elk in WA but really here on the East side of the state most elk are on private property or private ranches, so you're best bet is to head up north to units 113 and 117 and find them. I'd rather hunt local and work so I can spend all my hours away from my family and gym hunting elk in my favorite spots in Idaho. So my first elk hunt of the year will start Saturday.
Here's today's workout, going to be a rough month of maintaining CrossFit Fitness, but I am going to try to do 2 strength bias workouts a week in order to salvage some strength. Hiking in the elk woods usually makes me lose a few pounds that are wanted pounds, so I'm going to eat like a horse and squat heavy every week when I come home.
1. Power Clean Singles #175,175,210,210,240,210,240,250,260... Squat Cleans 270,280,290, and caught 300 in the bottom, then my belt came undone, but damn I was close to that goal.
