Last week was a packed one for the ElkShape crew—and we’re not slowing down any time soon.
We kicked things off in Salt Lake City, where we linked up with our friends at Black Rifle Coffee Company. We toured their headquarters and got a deeper look at the people, culture, and mission behind the brand. Of course, we filmed the entire experience, so keep your eyes peeled for a full video breakdown coming soon. Let’s just say: we left fired up—literally and figuratively.
From there, we made our way to Black Ovis HQ, got a chance to talk shop, check out gear, and connect with their awesome team. But the real treat? We were granted exclusive access to something very few people have ever seen…
We’re talking about a private factory tour of the Easton Archery facility—where American-made arrows are built from start to finish. It was an unreal look behind the curtain, watching how precision, consistency, and craftsmanship come together to make the arrows many of us trust in the field. That video will be dropping soon too, and if you’re even remotely into gear, you’re going to love it.
After a quick turnaround, we got home and dove straight into Bear Bender prep mode. We’ve been organizing, packing, checking gear, and making sure every piece of our system is dialed in. Why? Because we’re heading to Canada this Friday for two full weeks of bear hunting—first in Alberta, then in Saskatchewan.
We’ll be putting our setups to the test, chasing adventure with cameras rolling, and creating some killer content along the way. We’re excited to share what works, what doesn’t, and everything in between.
Make sure to follow along on Instagram for behind-the-scenes looks and real-time updates from the backcountry. And as always—thanks for being part of this community of motivated, faith-driven, elk-hunting maniacs who are committed to staying Locked In.
Separation is in the Preparation
