2 Weeks. 2 Provinces. Too Many Bears? (Never.) 🐻
We just wrapped up two wild weeks chasing black bears through northern Alberta and eastern Saskatchewan, and let’s just say—Bear Bender 2025 delivered.
The adventure kicked off with Prairie North Outfitters, where Dan tagged out on two incredible archery bears and Riley punched his first-ever archery bear tag—a big milestone in an unforgettable setting. Big shoutout to Darcy Ledrew, the man behind the outfit, who’s as legit as they come. We even sat down with him for a podcast that drops soon.
From there, we packed up and headed east to the Duck Mountains of Saskatchewan with Eastern Sky Guiding, where Dan tagged his biggest bear to date. We shared camp with Bill from Iron Will Outfitters and our Bear Hunt Giveaway winner, Cody Sabol, making it a week full of epic stories, laughs, and next-level bear footage.
