Engineering the '23 Mathews Bows - PHASE 4

Today is the launch of the 2023 Mathews Lineup - who better than Mark Hayes - Design Engineering Manager at Mathews to chat about the new technology and innovation.  Mark is a very humble family man, whitetail connoisseur and archery nerd.  We discuss the advances of the 2023 bows and geek out on arrows and vane configurations.

Mark always provides helpful engineering information and reasons for their decisions at Mathews. I haven’t shot a Mathews bow since the Creed, however, I plan to move in their direction with the new low poundage offering. I’ve often wondered why Mathews has stayed with a draw specific bow. Now I know the answer. Dealers would likely enjoy a rotating mod, yet the archer has the advantage with efficiency and energy. Good to know. I like to do my own bow work and wonder how that will go with the top hat system. Guess I learn.
